Voies Off is the event that supports emerging contemporary photography offering to the authors involved a prestigious showcase at the edge of one of the most important photographic festivals in the world.
The event, directed by Christophe Laloi, takes place in fact in parallel with Les Rencontres d'Arles and is therefore also expected this year in the same period, from 4th July to 25th September 2016.
Now in its twenty-first edition, the Voies Off 2016 provides hundreds of free exhibitions, scattered throughout the French town, and will try to be a synergistic counterpoint to the official programme of Les Rencontres, giving space to emerging talents, new trends and to all those independent projects which are normally excluded from the institutional circuit.
The heart of the event is once again the Cour de l'Archevêché where, during the opening week (4th to 9th July), some of the most important events of the 2016 edition will be hosted. Among these the portfolio reviews which, for the first time, also sees the editorial staff of FPmag on the readers bench.
