The Voies Off festival in 2017 reaches its 22nd edition and will take place as is customary in Arles from 3rd July to 24th September.
The 2017 edition anticipates, in addition to the free exhibitions, located throughout the city with locations which are often original and in any case outside the institutional circuits, educational meetings and other events as well. However, keeping with tradition, the event is primarily intended as a showcase for new trends, independent projects and emerging talents.
The 22nd edition sees Christophe Laloi once again in the role of artistic director, while the heart of the event is the Cour de l'Archevêché, which during the opening week (3rd - 8th July) hosts some of the most prestigious events scheduled, such as workshops, portfolio readings and evening screenings.
As far as the portfolio reviews are concerned, the editorial staff of FPmag will also be among the readers again this year, and once more in 2017 is the media partner for the event.
