The exhibition programme proposed by the Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops 2015 consists of seven exhibitions and eight evenings of screenings, during which will be shown over a hundred works. Scheduled at the FCC Angkor, starting at 20.30, the latter will also provide for the IPA Hong Kong & Taiwan Showcase (Wednesday, 9th December, 2015) – an evening dedicated to 18 emerging talents from Hong Kong and Taiwan selected by Kevin WY Lee, founder of Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA) and Guest Curator of this edition of the Festival – and The Impact Project (Monday, 7th December, 2015) – the evening reserved for the 20 authors selected under the project of the same name, launched in 2014, designed to bring out the best photo projects dedicated to individuals, groups or small organizations working to promote positive change related to social or environmental issues. Around the environmental theme gravitate two exhibitions, Scorched Earth / China’s Wounded Environment by James Whitlow Delano and Kiribati by Vlad Sokhin (Cosmos/Panos Pictures), inserted within the exhibition area Greenlight Exhibitions Series, launched last year and reserved for works related to current topical environmental issues.
