FPmag editorial staff has selected the works competing for the Landscape category of the Young Talents of Image 2015 and has chosen as Best Author:

Yevgeny Nakonechnyy | Russia
Okoem, 2013-2015

Among the projects competing for the YToI 2015 in the Landscape category, the best work according to FPmag has been from the Russian photographer Yevgeny Nakonechnyy. His artistic ability and project analysis has captured our attention for the maturity despite the author's young age. Okoem s an ancient word used by Russian poets and writers to indicate the space where one can look around. Nakonechnyy has captured recurring landscapes in his personal and emotional experience and was able to recreate the feelings he experienced in similar places. In this sense, the specific landscape takes on a universal value of metaphorical place where the observer can find a space that allows him to find himself, outside the frenzy of the current world.
