2016 OFF Circuit finalists

The OFF Circuit section of Cortona On The Move, international photography festival, gives young emerging talents a chance to have their work printed and placed on exhibition for the entire duration of the festival, which runs this year from July 14th to October 2nd.
The call theme was Fotografia in viaggio (Photography on the move), being the leitmotif of Cortona On The Move festival which, each year, takes us on a photographic journey of discovery into diverse worlds and remarkable situations. This year 1.136 photographers from all over the globe answered the OFF Circuit call which ended on the 31st of March. The jury for the 2016 edition – composed of artistic director Arianna Rinaldo, members of the ONTHEMOVE association and the editors of EyesOpen! – has selected five projects for exhibition at the Vecchio Ospedale (Old Hospital) site, plus another ten which will be projected during the inauguration period of the festival. The five finalist projects (of which you can preview some shots in the gallery placed at the beginning) are:

Amina Okuyeva poses for the photo in a flat she shares with her mother and son. She was on Maidan from December 2014 working as a medical volunteer.
