The Voies Off competition 2017

As every year Voies Off, the festival that combines with the famous Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles, index the Prix Voies Off. It is a competition, which is possible to participate in until 20th December 2016, which is aimed at photographic amateurs or professionals, artists who use photography, associations, collectives, galleries, agencies or schools, regardless of age or nationality.

The selection committee will choose the works that present a personal and original vision, showing an excellent command of the language and an appropriate theme, design and style unity. The jury will be composed of professionals, members of SAIF (Société des Auteurs des arts visuels et de l'Image Fixe) and Voies Off, and will designate, in its sole discretion, the winners of the Prix Voies Off, the Prix Révélation SAIF and the Prix lacritique.org. The winner of the Prix Voies Off receive a prize of 5000,00 €, while the winner of Prix Révélation SAIF of 2500,00 €. Finally, the winner of the Prix lacritique.org will be published online, accompanied by a critical text. The selection of the works will be made in May, while the results will be communicated to the interested parties in July 2017.

To participate you must register via the Voies Off website (see link in the form below) by sending, in a single pdf document, your curriculum vitae, a short text that provides the interpretative lines of the proposed work and all those elements that the author considers relevant, the images, from a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 35 photographs and saved in JPEG format of the highest quality, the size of about 1500x2000 pixels with a resolution of 72 dpi, RGB mode or grey levels. In the gallery is a selection of images of the 2016 edition winners.
