Tuscan Photo Festival 2015

The twenty-third edition of Tuscan Photo Festival will take place in Massa Marittima, a medieval town in the heart of Maremma (Tuscany), from July 11th to August 9th, 2015.
A festival now consecrated at national and international level with the artistic direction of Franco Fontana, one of the greatest italian photographer, supported by the town, the major, Gruppo Fotografico Massa Marittima and private sponsors such as Lavazza Coffee and created by Amatur. On the agenda exhibitions, meetings, readings of portfolio and workshops (from July 16th to 25th), where the students will be supported by their photographers-teachers who will follow them step by step, from shooting to printing. The courses will concern nude, portrait, fashion, creativity and reportage, and the masters will be: Settimio Benedusi, Oliviero Toscani, Alberto Buzzanca, Uwe Ommer, Davide Giglio, Franco Fontana, Alex Mezzenga and Francesco Anselmi. Thanks to the partner of the event WikiMedia Italy has been organized a workshop that will be made on 23th and 24th of July: a photo safari to discover the beauty of Massa Marittima; more information about how you can create images with license free and share them on Wikipedia giving right emphasis to the author; a marathon of editing / writing of Wikipedia entries related to the world of photography. A workshop open to all but 10 seats are reserved for young people under 25 years old.
